2018 Toyota Sequoia: Spacious, Full-Size SUV Is Capable And Luxurious

The 2018 Toyota Sequoia is named after the world’s largest redwood trees. It is a value-packed, body-on-frame, spacious full-size SUV. The 2018 Sequoia is big on roominess, power, and capability. It’s also a Toyota, which means that quality and value are built right in.

The 2018 Sequoia seats up to eight in comfort, thanks to its large size and space-saving independent rear suspension. This advanced suspension also provides a smooth, supple ride that is unmatched by Sequoia’s solid-axle competitors.

Despite all these great qualities, the 2018 Sequoia is failing in the large SUV segment, For July 2017, Sequoia came in dead last with a mere 963 sales, way behind the sales leaders Chevrolet Tahoe (6,824), GMC Yukon (4,370), and Ford Expedition (3,617).

Based on the Tundra pickup truck, the Sequoia has not seen a redesign since the 2008 model year. That could have something to do with it! But if you want a vehicle of this type and it has to be a Toyota, the Sequoia is your only choice.
